Industry-leader Total Information Management Corp. (TIM) has once again been awarded another contract by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for another major IT initiative. After sealing the deal for PRC’s Information Security Infrastructure, TIM will concurrently act as the prime-mover for the design, development, and implementation of PRC’s Office System Automation (OSA) Project.

The OSA Project’s main objective is to build a back-office Web-based portal that would serve as the central hub for PRC’s critical business functions such as human resource management, corporate communications (email and teleconferencing), document management, and electronic workflow. This delivery channel shall serve as the intranet infrastructure for PRC’s mission-critical systems accessible to its internal workforce.

Jose Mari M. Antunez, President and CEO of TIM says, “Our proven track record in building integrated, Web-based solutions is our way of assuring PRC that we can achieve what this project is envisioned to achieve. We are honored to be part of this technological endeavor that would pave the way for PRC to achieve world-class status in terms of automation of business processes.”

Dr. Leonor Tripon-Rosero, Chairperson of PRC, says, “With TIM as our chosen solutions provider for two (2) major projects in our pipeline, we at PRC are confident that our IT initiatives for 2007 will succeed. This specific project on Office System Automation will further increase our agency’s productivity in its day-to-day operations to attain the mission of serving the Filipino professional.”

TIM is a 100% Filipino-owned IT company established in 1985 and is a leading technology services company providing hardware, software, maintenance services, system integration, business recovery and outsourcing services for some of the country's largest enterprises.

PRC is the Philippine Government’s regulatory agency that supervises the practice of Filipino professionals who constitute the highly skilled manpower of the country. Established in 1973 as the agency-in-charge of the professional sector, the PRC plays a strategic role in developing the corps of professionals for industry, commerce, governance, and the economy.
