On April 2, 2014 Producers Savings Bank, the largest standalone thrift bank in terms of branch network with 108 operating branches, formally inked and awarded their core banking system infrastructure project to Total Information Management Corp., in partnership with Oracle Philippines. This investment supports the bank’s vision to be the most progressive, stable and strong private development financial institution in the Philippine countryside.
The new core banking system is expected to drive and expand the Bank’s array of products and services and further support its branch network expansion as they continue to focus on the countryside to serve its main customers – the progressive farmers and fisherfolks, small and medium enterprises (“SMEs”) and home and motor vehicle buyers. Producers Savings Bank will soon add domestic trade finance to its product offerings. In 2013, Producers Bank added 25 branches to its branch network to further expand its reach, recording a total of 106 branches as of Dec 2013. This reinforces the bank’s position as the largest standalone thrift bank in terms of branch network as Producers Bank intends to open 21 additional branches in 2014.
