SDWAN and Digital Workspace Event

Posted at March 27, 2019

Total Information Management Corporation held an event covering the latest technologies in Software Define WAN (SD-WAN) and Mobile Device Management solutions (Digital Workspace), the VMWare “Velocloud” and VMWare “Workspace one.”

The VMware SD-WAN by VeloCloud™ is a transformational approach to simplify branch office networking and assure optimal application performance. Unlike traditional WANs, SD-WAN delivers increased network agility and cost reduction. Software-Defined WAN has its roots in Software-Defined Networking (SDN), the underlying principle of which is to abstract the network hardware and transport characteristics from the applications that use the network. Whereas, VMWare Workspace One simply and securely delivers and manages any app on any device with an intelligence-driven Digital Workspace Platform powered by VMware AirWatch Technology. Workspace ONE integrates access control, application and multi-platform endpoint management and is available as a cloud service or for on-premise deployment.

VMWare’s subject matter experts from the Regional Head Quarters were also present during the event. Mr. Kiat Keng is the Regional Systems Engineer across South-East Asia and Korea. We were also joined by Ms. Kristine Almoite, VMware’s Territory Manager covering Philippines commercial business. She has 14 years of experience in providing value-based solutions for Infra, Software, Network, Managed Services and Applications across ASEAN and North America regions.

The Technical Overview was presented by Arman Antoja and Gerald Ivan Valdez, both Senior Systems Engineers from VST-ECS Philippines.

On March 27, 2019 at Holiday Inn & Suites Makati, this successful event was attended by various companies from different sectors.
